Vintage 1950s Oriental Wooden Opening Flower Table Lamp - Intricate Carving

This is a very unusual lamp, made from wood. If you twist the base of the flower head, the petals open to reveal the bulb 

I think it's teak and certainly appears oriental?

All in great condition. Fully working and lovely.
