Vintage 1950s Unusual Straw / Paper ? Tinsel- Red

This is a couple of lengths of vintage 1950s? tinsel

Not quite sure what it's made from? maybe paper? Straw? wood? in a sort of Chenille style? suitable for the thinner, older goose feather trees perhaps?

It is malting, but does smell amazing (like every vintage christmas should)

Sold all together one piece measures 216cm long and 158cm
