Vintage 1970s Handmade Large Macrame Hanging Planter/ Side Table

This is the most amazing, very large macrame hanging basket

It is very long, and the current trend seems to be to have these hanging low, beside a sofa or chair, perhaps with a plant? but the original basket can be removed and replaced with a tray to make it a great side table too?

It has heavy 'seed pod' style decorations that hang around the bottom and from the centre, all hanging from a strong hook at the top

As i said, the original basket is removable, as just sits in place when hung

Sadly i cannot find a definite origin to this piece, but it's amazing

All in really great condition, a real statement piece

Measures 48cm in diameter (basket) but can go much bigger if needed (a decent sized table) 164cm long
